HOW TO CHOSE THE BEST BAT
The best bat always comes back to the player. What I look for is something light. Too often I have seen players both young and old using heavy bats and when I ask them why? The common answer is “the ball goes further” .... well, that's debatable.
Virat Kolhi’s bat is 1150grams or 2lb 8 ounces
David Warner’s bat is 1240 grams or 2lb 11 ounces
Usman Khawaja’s bat is 1160 grams or 2lb 9 ounces
These guys are the best in the world and work extremely hard as professional cricketers. As a non-professional cricketer, I really suggest that you all think about the weight of the bat vs your physical strength. Personally, the lighter the better. The longer you intend on being out in the middle making plenty of runs, the weight of your bat will get slightly heavier as you fatigue. Don't let the “heavy bat” fatigue you early in your innings.
