TIPS AND TRICKS ON MAKING YOUR GEAR LAST LONGER

TIPS AND TRICKS ON MAKING YOUR GEAR LAST LONGER

As with the progression of manufacturing and price, we now have opportunity to have multiples of gloves, pads, bats, shoes etc and and this allows us to rotate our gear.

If you can purchase two sets of gloves, you should consider using them on a rotation system. When swapping your gloves, spend some time cleaning the gloves you have just been wearing. Allow them to naturally rejuvenate. By doing this, you will add more life to your gloves. Don't forget, these are just about the most important piece of equipment you should have  .... if you can't hold the bat or if your gloves are worn and your bats slips then you're in all sorts of trouble.

Its always great to have 2-3 bats in your kit bag. There would be nothing worse than breaking a bat and have nothing to turn too. If you are able to have a couple of bats, make sure you rotate them when training in the nets to ensure they are both knocked in and match ready.
